Zakat Calculator
Work out your annual zakat: add up cash, gold, silver and investments, subtract debts, and check the nisab. You type the gold and silver prices yourself — nothing is fetched or uploaded.
How it works
- Enter your cash, gold and silver (in grams), investments, and any debts. Type today's gold and silver price per gram yourself — we never fetch prices from the internet.
- Choose your nisab: the gold standard (87.48 g) or the silver standard (612.36 g). We convert it to money using the prices you entered.
- If your net assets reach the nisab, your zakat is 2.5% of the net total. Read the note below before you pay.
FAQ
Why do I enter gold and silver prices manually?
This calculator works fully offline and never fetches live prices. Type today's local rate per gram in your own currency for the most accurate result — your jeweller or local market rate is a good source.
Gold nisab or silver nisab — which should I use?
Both are established standards. The silver nisab is lower, so more people qualify under it. Communities differ on which they follow — ask a qualified scholar which standard applies to you.
Do I include my home or car?
No. Only zakatable assets count: cash, gold and silver, trade goods and investments. Personal items such as your home, car and furniture are exempt.
For reference only — please consult a qualified scholar. Gold/silver prices are entered manually. This calculator is not religious or financial advice.
Private by design: everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
