Can I compare ounces with grams?
Yes — weight units (oz, lb, g, kg) are converted to a common base, as are volume units (fl oz, ml, L), before comparing. Weight and volume can't be compared with each other, so the tool shows both unit prices without picking a winner.
Why per 100 g instead of per ounce?
Per 100 g (or per 100 ml) works for both metric and US packages, so mixed units compare fairly. Use pieces (pcs) for items sold by count, like eggs or batteries.
