Is the tip calculated before or after tax?
Before tax, on the bill subtotal — the usual US custom. Tax is added on top and split the same way.
Can I change the currency?
Yes — switch between $, € and £ at the top; every figure on the page updates.
What if someone shared a dish with another person?
In itemized mode, tick every person who shared the dish. Its price is divided equally among them, and their share of tax and tip follows automatically.
