FAQ
Why can I not hear anything?
Check that your device volume is up and that the tab is not muted. If your browser shows a voice list but plays no audio, try a different voice from the dropdown.
Why is the voice list empty or missing?
Voices come from your operating system, not from our site. Speech works best in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge; some browsers (including Firefox on some systems) expose no voices at all.
Is my text sent to a server?
No. Speech synthesis happens entirely on your device through your browser. Your text never leaves this page.
