Prayer Times Calculator

Daily prayer times computed on your device from the sun's position. Pick a city or enter coordinates, choose a calculation method, and get the times plus a live countdown.

How it works

  1. Choose a city (or enter your own latitude and longitude) and pick a calculation method — the angle of the sun below the horizon used for Fajr and Isha.
  2. Press "Calculate prayer times". Everything is computed in your browser from standard solar-position astronomy; nothing is uploaded.
  3. For today's date you also get a live countdown to the next prayer. Times use 24-hour format and the city's local time.

FAQ

Why do the times differ from my mosque's timetable?

Different regions use different calculation conventions (the sun-angle for Fajr and Isha, rounding, and small safety margins). This tool follows the five most widely used methods, but your local mosque's timetable is the final reference.

What is the difference between the Asr options?

Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali schools start Asr when an object's shadow equals its length plus the noon shadow; the Hanafi school starts it when the shadow is twice the length, so Hanafi Asr is later.

Is this religious guidance?

No. This is an astronomy-based calculation aid, not a religious ruling. Prayer-time conventions and school-of-thought details vary — when in doubt, follow your local mosque or scholar.

Private by design: everything runs in your browser. Nothing is uploaded.
